Medal of Honor

[edit]

The article states he won a Medal of honor, but i can find no mention of it on lists of recipients. Falcon8765 (TALK) 20:03, 15 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

DCartano: The correction was made. A copy of the citation and a photo of the medal are now included. He was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Medal. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dcartano (talkcontribs) 00:13, 18 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Is "Mementos told life of John Cartano, 96" the obituary cited in the article? It is from The Seattle Times, and it's dated 31 July 2005, but it doesn't support everything that the footnotes do. —C.Fred (talk) 02:13, 10 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
