Identity
[edit]Is this the same person who was Rear Admiral, and commander of the Will Rogers (SSBN-659) in 1975? It seems unlikely, but this man was also a naval officer, and they were alive at the same time. See also Avriette 18:36, 14 January 2006 (UTC)
No. John Butler retired from the Navy after World War II. He's retired from politics and lived then and now in San Diego. Dananderson 18:43, 17 January 2006 (UTC)
