John Curtis (American politician)John Curtis – Now that he has been elected to the US house of representatives he is clearly by far the most notable "John Curtis" Guyb123321 (talk) 21:37, 9 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

John Curtis (Utah politician)John Curtis – Moving this here. The Utah politician was just elected to the U.S. Senate and, like prior politicians elevated to a higher role or in leadership, is both prominent and popular (in terms of pageviews) to have the non-disambiguated page name. The now-Senator has averaged 1232 pageviews daily over the past month, compared to 55 for all the other "John Curtis" pages combined. The median figures are 716 vs 46, respectively. Some degree of recency here, but now as a U.S. Senator, it is likely this discrepancy only grows. Debartolo2917 (talk) 06:41, 13 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with this proposal to move this page, per the well-reasoned comment above. This move would also be consistent with Wikipedia policies pertaining to page moves. User:Jgstokes (talk)—We can disagree without becoming disagreeable. 07:29, 13 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose There are roughly a dozen other Johns Curtis on the dab page. Privileging this one over the others because he's a freshly-minted U.S. Senator is bizarre. Nevermore27 (talk) 17:16, 13 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
