Name
[edit]Would be better at John Croker (medallist). The traditional use in English of "engraver" etc for medal-making is rather confusing (with the main sense of engraving as printmaking) and generally avoided in modern sources. Making a die with a design in relief uses little true engraving. I won't move however. Johnbod (talk) 15:48, 18 December 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Where does the image come from? The design may be out of copyright, but a photo found on the internet is subject to copyright in the normal way, as medals are 3D objects not covered by Bridgeman Art Library v. Corel Corp., on which we rely for 2D images. The information on the image file is not adequate. Johnbod (talk) 15:53, 18 December 2013 (UTC)
