Neville's Cross
[edit]I made a small correction to the article - The Battle of Neville's Cross was described as an English defeat, but as the linked article (and the rest of the paragraph) makes clear, it was in fact a major English victory. I assume this was simply a slip. Jellyandjocko (talk) 08:51, 30 October 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for catching that slip! NinaGreen (talk) 15:40, 30 October 2013 (UTC)
Headings
[edit]How about something like this;
- ==1305==
- ==1310==
- ==1316==. ```Buster Seven Talk 16:52, 30 October 2013 (UTC)
- I've added a few section headings which will hopefully do the trick. NinaGreen (talk) 17:23, 30 October 2013 (UTC)
Tuns or tons
[edit]In the second para of "Life" the word tun appears. I know this is "Old English" and is the word used in the report of the incident, but I think it will always cause confusion. I suggest either parenthesis or change to the common "ton". That is, unless there is a significant weight difference between the 14th Century tun and our modern ton. ```Buster Seven Talk 17:09, 30 October 2013 (UTC)
- Good point. Thanks. I've added a link to 'Tun (unit)', which has an illustration of the tun. NinaGreen (talk) 17:25, 30 October 2013 (UTC)
