Name
[edit]I see this has already gone from John D. Coates > John Coates (official) > John Dowling Coates.
The current name does disambiguate him to an extent, but for the vast majority of people who know him by reputation, they would be no more aware that his middle name is Dowling than mine is <whatever it is>. Hence, it's not immediately apparent that this is the right John Coates they're looking for.
I'd prefer to see it as John Coates (Olympic administrator) or John Coates (sports official), or something like that. -- JackofOz (talk) 18:18, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
