Some are only passing references, but seems notable to me. AndroidCat (talk) 16:24, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
pussy comment
I thought if we mention the comment, we must mention the word. Otherwise, drop the whole thing. The fact "Jason Beghe" incorporated the word in his comments is not relevant really. If we mention Jason Beghe, surely we should explain who he is, and discuss some interaction between Jason Beghe and Carmichael that extends beyond the shared use of a word. The main purpose of my edit was to shorten the topic, so to avoid over weight to it. --Rob (talk) 00:17, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
- I think the fact that Jason Beghe, a notable actor and relatively new and prominent critic of Scientology, used the same phrasing as Carmichael, is relevant, however I'll of course defer to consensus on this. Cirt (talk) 02:24, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
12 Organizations
There are currently only three churches of Scientology New York State. Where does the number twelve come from? Teegeeack (talk)
- It is sourced later in the article, per WP:LEAD. Cirt (talk) 22:37, 18 January 2010 (UTC)
- To satisfy everyone, I changed it to say "nine" which is what http://www.locator.scientology.org says there are in the NJ/NY area. ZBrannigan (talk) 22:55, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
- Would rather go by what is already confirmed per sources later on in the article. Per WP:LEAD. Cirt (talk) 00:59, 25 January 2010 (UTC)
- Are you daft or what? How can you go with "sources" for information if Scientology.org says it's not true? I mean seriously ... ZBrannigan (talk) 22:00, 25 January 2010 (UTC)
- Please be civil. Please read WP:LEAD. Please do not make unsourced changes to a WP:BLP article. Cirt (talk) 22:52, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
- The locator does not say anything about how many churches Carmichael is in charge of. We are better off going with the source. We could date and attribute the statement if there is well-founded concern that it may be outdated. --JN466 19:29, 27 January 2010 (UTC)
- Agreed. Cirt (talk) 23:03, 28 January 2010 (UTC)
- You people are kidding right? If there's only nine Scientology facilities in the NJ/NY area, how could he POSSIBLY be in charge of twelve? This argument is sad by the way67.83.32.109 (talk) 23:46, 28 January 2010 (UTC)

Done, added year to sentence, 2006, per source, The New York Times. Cirt (talk) 23:54, 28 January 2010 (UTC)
