Discussion
[edit]I deleted the statement that John Cameron Swayze was no relation to Patrick and Don Swayze. Although not particularly relevant, a little googling showed they actually are very distantly related through common descent from Judge Samuel Swezey who lived in the early 18th century. This heavily researched family has produced a lot of famous people mostly through collateral lines. Bebill 09:19, 5 November 2006 (UTC)
Once removed?
[edit]If John & Patrick are both 8th generation descendants of Samuel, how can they be 6th cousins once removed? GoodDay (talk) 21:06, 8 July 2012 (UTC)
Broadway
[edit]Does anyone have any evidence that Swayze acted on Broadway? The article says, "Swayze first sought to work as an actor, but his activity on Broadway ended when acting roles became scarce following the Wall Street Crash of 1929." My search of the Playbill Vault and Internet Broadway Database sites showed no mention of him. Eddie Blick (talk) 13:27, 27 September 2019 (UTC)
