Curious
[edit]Very strange - the reports of death and funeral seem plausible, the funeral one mentions "Sir Duncan Alexander Cameron, G.C.B. (brother of [the deceased])", but ODNB doesn't mention this John Cameron at all, the record for Duncan Alexander Cameron (1808-1888) calls him "only son of ...", and the record for "Cameron, Sir John (1773–1844)", says he married and "They had one son, Sir Duncan Alexander Cameron (1808–1888)". Something strange. PamD 22:55, 8 January 2015 (UTC)
- Yes, I noticed that too. Something is amiss for it's not often that the DNB is in error. I created this rudimentary stub with the hope that someone else would round out the material. Peter Mercator (talk) 11:34, 9 January 2015 (UTC)
