Tottenham

Unless there is another J H Burton, I believe this player first played for Tottenham, from 1900 to 1905. Govvy (talk) 14:00, 31 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Govvy: The J H (Jack) Burton who played for Spurs was born in 1875, and signed for Derby County in 1896, when this one would only have been 11. There are three J H (Jack) Burtons who played league football:

John Burton (footballer, born 1863) who played for Aston Villa;
your one, born 1875, who played for Derby and Chatham before Spurs and was on the books of Preston after;
and this one, John Burton (footballer, born 1885).
