Although this John Bulmer has for five years been the only John Bulmer to have a Wikipedia article, I've just created an article on a second John Bulmer. Since it was me who created this, I'm not the best judge of the relative importances of the two John Bulmers, but I'd point out that the second one has had not mere mentions but entire articles devoted to his work in The Guardian, British Journal of Photography, Yorkshire Post, Birmingham Post, and more; has had a number of solo exhibitions, and is the subject of two books (one admittedly small but the other rather large). For these reasons, I -- somewhat nervously when addressing cricket fans -- suggest that he be "John Bulmer" and that the current "John Bulmer" be "John Bulmer (cricketer)". -- Hoary (talk) 01:51, 19 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I'd be happy with that. The cricketer only played the one first-class match and, although I consider myself pretty knowledgeable about the game, prior to your raising the matter on our project page I'd never heard of him. Thanks for asking rather than just going ahead. JH (talk page) 10:10, 19 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you both. There's no rush, so I'll leave this question up until a couple of weeks have gone by and then, if there's no disagreement, do the moves (and the link-changing). If there is any disagreement, I'll let somebody else decide and (if appropriate) do the moves. -- Hoary (talk) 14:35, 20 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
