Would someone please clear something up for me reguarding this article? I'm not an American revolutionary war period expert. Was the House of Burgesses active through Virginia's enactment to statehood? According to the reference listed below, which I added in editing this article, John Banister of this article was a delegate of the House of Burgesses in 1777 when it was a new state.

@User:Randy Kryn: John Banister is considered a Founding Father by whom? Since you didn't add a citation, we have no way of telling. So please apply one so we can discuss what your source is and then what other sources have to say. Allreet (talk) 08:55, 23 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
