- The lead of the article does not satisfy WP:LEAD. The second paragraph is just a replica of the first. Please, wright a new lead of apprppriate length. In addition, which would eventually merge into Baldwin-Wallace College. is not mentioned in the main text.

- Based on my research, it's possible but unlikely, since he didn't seem like the military type. I imagine academy = private school, so I'll reword. Wizardman 20:38, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
