This started as a translation of the DE article. I added material from ADB. The DE article suffers from specifying no references or citations that I can see, and the translation suffers accordingly. DE has a nice portrait graphic which it would be good to move to Commons so it can be used here. Aside from problems mentioned, it seems close to B status. Bob Burkhardt (talk) 22:01, 18 December 2008 (UTC) The DE article now seems to have references, or at least now I am willing to treat the "weblinks" as such. The portrait has been moved to Commons so it could now be used here. Today I added material from NIE which drew attention to the date of his move to Leipzig which needed fixing.
