Baedeker
[edit]I had trouble parsing the second clause of the sentence in Baedecker" "Wer reisen will, Der schweig fein still, Geh steten Schritt, Nehm nicht viel mit, Tret an am frühen Morgen, Und lasse heim die Sorgen." If anyone has a good translation, it would be nice to include it.
- Maybe: "He who would travel should keep a discrete silence, go at a steady pace, pack lightly, start early in the morning, and leave the worries at home?"
I also omitted translating the rhyme from the "Köthener Gesellschaftsbuch". In my opinion it's TMI for English Wikipedia, but if anyone feels otherwise... Peter Flass (talk) 13:15, 12 September 2014 (UTC)

[edit]Which is it? Article should use the spelling current in the seventeenth century. Peter Flass (talk) 14:27, 12 September 2014 (UTC)
