Editing needed

[edit]

The editor above and the vandal who keeps trying to insert "never won a medal" into the accomplishments do have a serious point. This is clearly written in non-encyclopedic form as a sales resume. There is a history that looks like a lot of WP:COI editing. The amount of work to source the legitimate accomplishments of Joetta is daunting. I am not sure what action will be taken in the future, I'm deliberately avoiding blanking the article and building it up from the ground again . . . at this point in time. I'll watch to see if anybody responds to this message. If there is no response, do not be surprised if I or another editor tears this down and builds it back up to a proper wikipedia article. So a year and a half later and nobody has addressed this situation. Makes me feel like I'm the only person editing track and field articles. I found this on the unsourced BLP list! I cleaned up some of the T&F content and added sources. Her notable T&F accomplishments certainly establish that the article belongs here. As for the extensive, repetitive list of honors and the sales efforts for her motivational speaking, she certainly deserves to make a buck but its rather commercial in nature and still should be cleaned up by a neutral party. Picture

[edit]

Why no picture of Joetta? There are many public pictures, including a nice one of Joetta in an orange dress. Can someone add her picture? 47.142.221.209 (talk) 05:21, 22 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
