Change "Joelinton Cassio Apolinário de Lira (born 14 August 1996), known as Joelinton, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a centre forward for German club 1899 Hoffenheim." to "Joelinton Cassio Apolinário de Lira (born 14 August 1996), known as Joelinton, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a centre forward for Newcastle United. I saw on the PL offical statistic webpage and they list Joelinton as a striker and I believe striker should be added back to the table(last time I did it but I had no proof so it got reverted) Mailsac (talk) 18:50, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The Soccerway website also gives his position as a striker. But we should be using what position club websites give, in this case a midfielder. The article does say he moved to midfield in the Eddie Howe days, so I think midfielder should stay for now. Not every football player gets to play in the same football position during careers.
