Controversies
[edit]Someone keeps changing the article, trying to edit out the fact that all of Casamayor's losses are controversial. I suggest this person read up on Casamayor's career; all three of his losses came on disputed decisions, especially the Castillo fight. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 209.247.5.223 (talk • contribs) 18:48, 3 December 2006 (UTC).
I have seen all of Casamayor's recent fights and I keep removing the biased language where his fans try to cast doubt on his losses. Many boxing decisions are controversial and the losses suffered by Casamayor are not all that notable. I can see how his fans may see him as being robbed, but in all his defeats the decision was perfectly reasonable. Labeling all of them as "controversial" is not neutral language. His losses were close fights that could have gone either way. I don't think there is any harm in mentioning that they were "disputed" or "controversial". After all, the Santa Cruz fight is noted as "controversial" on this page, and that was a close fight also.Countacolor (talk) 22:49, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
Nickname
[edit]In an interview, Casamayor said "El Cepillo" means the butterfly and he got the nickname because of his excellent truck driving ability.
