The article claims that Sherlock holds a record for having represented the greatest number of political parties in the Óireachtas, that record having being previously being held by the late Noel Browne.

I dispute this. Sherlock was elected to the Dáil as a member of Sinn Féin the Workers Party which in 1982 changed its name to the Workers' Party. In 1992 he resigned from the Workers' Party and joined the newly formed New Agenda, a breakaway group. Within a few months New Agenda changed its name to Democratic Left. In 1999 Democratic Left was dissolved and its members joined the Irish Labour Party. Therefore Sherlock represented a total of three parties (SFWP/WP, New Agenda/DL and Labour).

This contrasts with Noel Browne who was a member of Clann na Poblachta, Fianna Fáil, the Labour Party, the National Progressive Democrats and the Socialist Labour Party (5 parties) as well as four spells as an independent TD.
