[edit]

There is a factual error in the Joe Schmidt bio when it states: Seeing the need for a running back, Schmidt attempted to trade for former Lion teammate Jim Ninowski, but was rejected by management." Jim Ninowski was not a running back but an average quarterback who played for the Cleveland Brown several seasons, a few other teams and finished his career with the New Orleans Saints. If Schmidt saw the need for a quarterback, he might have pursued Ninowski, but if he truly was looking for a running back, Ninowski would have been a poor choice. I think the BIO should be edited to reflect Ninowski's actual position. -Jester 75.36.114.196 22:09, 13 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
