Early comments
[edit]Doesn't he introduce the Nets, at least until Jay-Z moves them? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.63.88.111 (talk) 03:29, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
2-28-2006 - Joe Piscopo is scheduled to be the host of the employee talent show at Foxwoods Resort Casino, a show dubbed "Foxwoods Idol." Going from SNL to hosting employee talent shows is quite a step down... Sad, really. - RWP
- The pay for that gig is probably ten times what he earned at SNL!Little grape (talk) 17:07, 18 December 2016 (UTC)
Is there such a thing as a "two-story ranch house"? Aren't ranch houses by definition one-story? 75.72.253.71 13:33, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
Beat me to it - Yep, far as I know anyway, ranches are one-story.
Unless they've had a story added on. Possible, especially in Jersey.
pop culture
[edit]I found another pop culture reference to him. In Gex 64 one of gex's lines is either "don't take career advice from Joe Piscopo" or "never take career advice from joe piscopo". does anybody know which one? Solar Flute (talk) 22:21, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
Thyroid Cancer
[edit]The article currently states that "Piscopo has repeatedly denied the allegations (of steroid use) and says he began a campaign to improve himself after battling thyroid cancer from 1981 to 1982." The IMDB says that he fought thyroid cancer in the 1990s, but doesn't give specific years. These two things don't contradict each other, but is "1981 to 1982" actually a typo for "1991 to 1992"? -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 18:00, 9 September 2010 (UTC)
Note about poor referencing in the article
[edit]I recently removed chunks of material about this living person that had absolutely no references to back them up whatsoever.
We should strive for higher standards for these biography pages and only add things with references to confirm.

- Most of what you removed was true. You would have better served readers by finding cites for it rather than just junking it. As it is the article is virtually empty, which signifies that Piscipo has done virtually nothing in his life, which itself can be considered a BLP violation don't you think? 2600:1017:B40A:3D8D:2C1C:2489:764A:D2FA (talk) 00:35, 12 February 2017 (UTC)
To add to article
[edit]To add to this article: information about Piscopo's parents, and his Italian heritage. 173.88.246.138 (talk) 20:13, 22 December 2019 (UTC)
