All of the images displayed on this page, two of which have been marked for deletion, were given to me by the singer himself. Why should they be deleted ? Mewga (talk) 14:50, 26 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not entirely sure about the best way to handle this singers name. I mean, the article name is Joe Grech but his given name is Joseph Grech. As a singer he is known Joe rather than Joseph. I'm looking at other pages for notable persons called Joe, such as the politicians Joe Lieberman and Joe Biden and there seems to be a tacit understanding that the given name is Joseph but they are then referred to as Joe without any explanation. I'm not sure that Joseph "Joe" Grech or Joseph (Joe) Grech are elegant either. The policy for article titles give some indication on using commonly recognizable names, so I'm inclined to say that simple referring to the singer as Joe Grech (without any reference to Joseph) throughout the article or only using Joseph in the lead sentence.
And this is to say nothing of the required disambiguation from other Joe Grech articles, which seems to have been handled appropriately but without a disambiguation page. --ToniSant (talk) 13:18, 23 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
