Reason for redirect

Hi, I just wanted to ask why this redirect was created, as I believe that it is potentially misleading. There is an economist by the name of Joe Earle too, i.e. not all bearers of this name are linked to the target of the redirect. I suggest deleting the redirect. @Niklas 555: The redirect was to replace the blanking of a full article which was blanked on grounds of WP:BLP (unsourced). But I reverted it and added some sources so the blanking shouldn't happen again.

If you wish to mention Joe Earle (economist) without going through the labor of creating that article, I suggest you create Joe Earle (disambiguation) and add him to your bulleted list, then add {{Other uses}} or {{About}} hatnote to this Joe Earle page.--Kiyoweap (talk) 05:23, 29 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
