Radio stuff

[edit]

Wikipedia isn't free ad space for airtimes and stations for people's small town radio shows! That information shouldn't be included in the article; that's why I deleted it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.224.126.92 (talk) 01:56, 6 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

One of 3 to play for and coach national champion

[edit]

I noticed someone removed Billy Donovan's name from the list of men who have played for and coached national champions. This is correct, because Donovan did not win the NCAA championship as a player, although he did go to the Final Four. Donovan's article says that he is one of four to go to the FF as a player and win the NCAA. That is also correct when you open it up to not include FF appearances. --rogerd 18:47, 23 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Regis vs Air Force Academy

[edit]

1961 at academy - half time student “disagreement” with large grouping pushing and shoving each other.

1962 at Regis - Joe hired student to manage half time events. Academy mascot is a live falcon which flies at half time of some of their athletic events. “Half time manager came out dressed like an Air Force falconer except he had a chicken, not a falcon, teathered to his arm. Just as Joe is leading the team out for the second half, the Regis Falconer “swings” the teathered chicken, breaks its neck and it bleeds all over the court. Joe was pissed but “falconer” wasn’t fired. 98.165.158.194 (talk) 16:19, 15 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
