I don't understand why "Lately" has been categorized as a "promotional single" separate from Jodeci's other singles. In my mind, a "promotional single" is one that a label sent copies to radio for airplay but didn't release to consumers as a retail single. Hence, its sole purpose was to promote the album, since that was the only means of acquiring it. The article on promotional recording supports this interpretation. In contrast, a traditional single generates its own revenue while (often) also promoting an album. Since "Lately" was released to retail as a physical single and was a big hit (arguably the group's biggest hit in the United States), I think it should be listed under the "singles" and not separately.Ww adh77 (talk) 12:27, 15 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
