Jocko is an interesting subject. Can someone pfrovide greater granularity on specific details of his background and his Seal career? Rainbow-five (talk) 21:35, 6 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Jocko grew up in Litchfield, Connecticut. He was a sweet young man, and if I recall, he liked to play, or wanted to play bass guitar. I don't remember, or know much more than that. His sister, Jennie was in my class. Jsderwin (talk) 08:07, 6 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
To what purpose? Special forces operators do not discuss "specific details" of their personal background or careers. They have ticked a box few can tick. That's all you need to know. 108.7.205.65 (talk) 02:51, 22 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Wiki articles on people are biographical, this is about the person, not his qualification for certain types of missions. No-one is trying to unearth classified military data, details like how long he took to achieve certain ranks etc are relevant to his motivational speaking, we don't need to know he who he did what to on a given day in a specified location.
There is barely anything here to illustrate why anybody wold want to listen to his podcasts or if his military background is even relevant to his motivational speaking. His books and podcasts are the reason for this article existing Czarnibog (talk) 00:59, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
