[edit]User:Asiaticus, you do not change an article's title by copy&paste. You must move the page to preserve the edit history. But in this case even a move was not needed.
The argument "there were several men of that name in old California at that time" is specious: were any of the others notable enough for Wikipedia? No. If article/s about any others called Joaquin Valenzuela arrive, the matter can be discussed then.
If you really think the title should be Joaquin Valenzuela (Five Joaquins), propose it here and wait for consensus. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 10:53, 2 January 2019 (UTC)
