Joanne Thompson → Joanne Thompson (field hockey) – Not clear that she's highly meganotable enough to claim WP:PRIMARYTOPIC rights over the politician. This should be a WP:TWODABS situation, with a disambiguation page at the plain title and both Joanne Thompsons dabbed for occupation, because neither of them is definitively more famous than the other. Bearcat (talk) 12:54, 30 April 2022 (UTC)
- Support per nomination. The four-sentence stub for the field hockey goalkeeper does not indicate a subject of greater historical notability than the two-sentence stub for the politician. Likewise, support creation of a Joanne Thompson disambiguation page listing Joanne Thompson (field hockey) as well as Joanne Thompson (politician). —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 06:28, 1 May 2022 (UTC)
- Support the politician has more views (147) than the field hockey player (46)[[1]]. Crouch, Swale (talk) 17:21, 3 May 2022 (UTC)
- Support per nom. No clear primary topic for this name (and if there was one, it probably wouldn't be the field hockey player, given pageviews). The safest bet would be to move the disambiguation page to the basename. Paintspot Infez (talk) 21:01, 3 May 2022 (UTC)
- Move to Jo Thompson, which appears to be her clear common name. -- Necrothesp (talk) 11:02, 5 May 2022 (UTC)
