I beleive some info should be there about Catherine II of Russia's mother, Johanna Elizabeth and the kind of relations she had with her. Merely redirecting the article to that of her husband does not make any sense...
Status and Advice
[edit]- There should be some information, and almost certainly a separate article: the usual practice is that parents and children of heads of state are sufficiently notable, though not more remote relatives. However, the reference numbering indicate this was copied out of some other source & so it needs to be rewritten. . I also have no great trust in the source. More important, the sources used, though i think reliable--they are found in the reference section of major academic libraries--seem to give only genealogical information. More is needed, and any standard biography of C.II should provide it. DGG ( talk ) 16:13, 11 November 2009 (UTC)
Yes I do agree to that. i'm in the process of doing so now.. May i quote some examples from the biography of Catherine by Virginia Rounding? regards, Nirvaan —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nirvaan.wiki (talk • contribs) 17:57, 11 November 2009 (UTC)
- There is too much white space between the lead and table of contents. It really should be fixed. Perhaps by placing the other images further down the page would help.--Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 19:20, 22 January 2010 (UTC)
Seriously?
[edit]This article has been tagged for sourcing problems since 2009. It contains only one source, which is a French-language genealogy. It should be sourced or deleted. 24.29.56.240 (talk) 04:40, 9 November 2020 (UTC)
