The German and Swedish Wikipedias lists the order as C minor ("No. 4" here) - C major ("no. 1") - E flat major ("No. 3") - G minor ("No. 2"). CPO have used the order listed in this Wikipedia for their CD series. The Swedish Musical Heritage is the most preciese, and gives the following order:

C minor ("No. 4" here, May 1805)
G minor ("No. 2", before 1806)
E flat major ("No. 3", April 1807)
C Major ("No. 1" here, 1809 or earlier, but after the C minor of 1805)

As Eggert did not attribute numbers himself (not that that matters as far as I'm concerned, by the way), the probable chronological order (with the C major as something of a wildcard) seems to be the one to go for. --Ilja.nieuwland (talk) 14:11, 23 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
