Argyria linked to high consumption of Jintan

[edit]

I feel that this should be addressed in the main article. The skin condition argyria is connected to ingestion of silver, such as colloidal silver in alternative medicine in the west, and also high consumption of Jintan in Japan. Wikipedia has stricter rules and guidelines for dealing with medical content, per WP:BIOMED and WP:MEDRS. Still, I agree that a brief mention is appropriate. I've added something. It's a bit too wordy. I'm not attached to the wording and am open to suggestions. Grayfell (talk) 23:10, 11 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
