Jin Qicong or Jin Qizong ?

[edit]

With regard to these changes and the page move by Šolon:

1. There is some confusion over the pronunciation of the Chinese name of the subject of this article (金啟孮). According to standard Chinese dictionaries the third character of his name (孮) is pronounced cóng, but in academic circles his given name is universally pronounced as Qǐzōng. For example, his daughter, Aisin-Gioro Ulhicun refers to her father as "Aisin Gioro Qizong" here, and Daniel Kane refers to "my old friends Jin Qizong, the foremost expert on Jurchen ..." here. Assuming that his daughter and his personal friends know how to correctly pronounce his name, then his name should be changed back to "Jin Qizong", and the article moved back to Jin Qizong.
2. Although Jin Qizong may have rejected the name "Aisin Gioro", he is referred to as "Aisin Gioro Qizong" in some sources, e.g. this self-written biography by his own daughter, and so the article should mention "Aisin Gioro Qizong" as an alternate name.
