Proper naming for this page

[edit]

user:The4lines Can you weigh in on the naming of this page? I just created it with the (actor) tag in the name because when I searched "Jin Ha", it redirected me to this Star Wars page. So, I (apparently mistakenly) believed "Jin Ha" was already taken. It now appears to me that what is taken is Jin'Ha, which is being used as a redirect. However, when a user searches "Jin Ha" in Wikipedia, it still results in a redirect to that Star Wars page. What would you suggest I do? First, should I move this page to Jin Ha? If I do that, will it make the "Jin Ha" search lead to the actor's page as I intended, or do I need to create a disambiguation page (which I have never done before)? Or, is moving this page to Jin Ha not a good solution because I've already created Jin Ha (actor) and this page shouldn't take up both spots? Thanks for any advice you can offer! @Grn1749: Hello, what I think is that it's fine how it is right now. The tag is used a lot so when your seaching you can tell which one is which, since sometimes you don't think about the ' again sometimes. But I'm not the best at this so maybe @Rosguill: can give a better answer. Thanks and Best, Signed,The4lines |||| (You Asked?) (What I have Done.) 14:16, 22 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@The4lines: I see you moved the page. Thank you! I'm glad to see this solves the search issue. Grn1749 (talk) 15:43, 22 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Grn1749, The correct location for this article is without the disambiguator (I've left behind the disambiguator as a redirect). Full guidelines for article naming can be found at MOS:TITLE, but the short version is that the primary topic for a given name should always have the main title, even if it wasn't the first page to be created there. There's no problem with having Jin Ha (actor) point to here. signed, Rosguill talk 15:49, 22 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
