Date of death
[edit]Souces differ on his date of death. Baseball-reference and MLB say January 29. The article lists January 26. The source for his death as well as Red Sox page at MLB indicate that it was announced on Monday, January 29 (not necessarily that he died that day). I have not altered his date of death. - Career statistics from MLB, or Baseball Reference, or Baseball Reference (Minors), or Retrosheet
- The cited source is the most complete, indicating his death date, and location. I have not yet found any other source including his death location. Flibirigit (talk) 20:44, 30 January 2024 (UTC)
- CBC Sports and ESPN both report his death date as January 26. Flibirigit (talk) 20:53, 30 January 2024 (UTC)
