Whats the big controversy? Pizza Puzzle

This man brought paparazzi to Hong Kong (and Taiwan). His publications feature sensationalism, pornography and sometimes even fake news. The newspaper market was comparatively "cleaner" before he come. I guess that's controversial enough, right? --Lorenzarius 04:09 17 Jul 2003 (UTC)

Only if you endorse the POV that pronography and fake news are actually controversial. Paparazzi sure aren't controversial anymore in the US, they just are. Rather than referring to something as controversial, explain who thinks it is controversial and why. Pizza Puzzle

Yes but wealthy links to something and the "relatively" indicates that one's wealthiness is a matter of POV. Pizza Puzzle

Well, the guy's own company says the spelling of his name is "Lai Chee Ying", which is why I changed it (see http://www.nextmedia.com/v3/aboutus.html). Anyway, I'm trying to figure out how to change the heading of the page, too?

Fouding of Giordano Brand

Hello everyone, I have worked with Mr. Giordano in New York city for several years now and thought wikipedia was a great way to get the trust out about how the company, Giordano, was founded. Here are the facts:

In 1996 Jimmy Lai was a salesman for a sweater company in HK by the name of Comtex. He did business with Federated Department Stores under the guidance of Federated Merchandise Manager Robert Giordano. Mr Giordano gave Jimmy Lai the design needs for Federated Stores USA. Without the knowledge of Mr. Giordano Jimmy took his ideas and sold them to a customer in the UK market. Behind Mr. Giordano's back Jimmy Lai registered the name GIORDANO and started his own wholesale business emulating the ideas that Mr. Giordano worked on for 12 months prior. Afterwards, all attempts by Mr. Giordano to contact Mr. Lai has been unsuccessful. Mr. Robert Giordano currently works in New York City as the VP of Compliance and Sourcing for a major apparel importer.

Request for references on allegations

Dear former colleague of Mr. Giordano: Please provide references to above statements. If he tried to make contact and took legal action, surely there is a court record?

The final quote references source 7, where Lai says the fewer friends one has, the more one has time to read. As in, read novels. This is different from getting more *readers*. Misquotation.
