The radio series lasted for four series of half hour episodes (1947-1952), but only one episode survives now which is the first episode of the second series, originally broadcast 1st November 1948. In the first series only they ran an Arctic trading post. In the second series, they have moved into a flat above a disused Fire Station. In the third series, the show had relocated to a rural police station. As well as Jimmy Jewel and Ben Warriss, the show featured: Claude Dampier, Jon Pertwee, Betty Paul and Roger Snowdon. Music by the Five Smith Brothers and the Dance Orchestra - conducted by Stanley Black. Scripted by Ronnie Hanbury. Producer: George Inns. Series 1 ran for 45 weeks. Series 2 for 26 weeks.
