Ha cha cha cha ?
[edit]Ive seen many impersoniations of Jimmy durante having his "ha cha cha cha" phrase, but Ive been trying to look for Jimmy durante actually saying it himself, anyone that can point me in the right direction? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.233.193.95 (talk) 19:25, May 18, 2008
A song
[edit]I once heard a song, which I belief was sung by Jimmy Durante. I cannot remember the exact lyrics, but it went something like 'One day, I read a book'...and at the end he sings 'I might read another book again'. I would love to get hold of this song - what is the title?
- That'd be Durante's "(I'll Never Forget) The Day I Read a Book." — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alao1551 (talk • contribs) 16:41, 20 July 2020 (UTC)

BTW...date changed for "Frosty the Snowman" to 1969, when the show was introduced. Confusion with the song, which was released in 1950 (not 1951). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frosty_the_Snowman —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.255.191.6 (talk) 02:45, 20 December 2010 (UTC)

Singing
[edit]I think there should more mention in the article re the re-birth of Durante's singing especially of the repeated use of his recorded songs in the Ephron movies.Dcrasno (talk) 03:38, 23 February 2012 (UTC)
"Television" is a complete mess
[edit]On what TV show did Durante first appear?
Much of it seems to be about The Big Show, which was a radio program

Le plombier amoureux (1932) as Tony ?
[edit]Referring to the French Wiki, this is the French version of The Passionate Plumber. Did JD play another character (instead of Julius J. McCracken in the English version) ? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.24.245.107 (talk) 09:53, 22 July 2017 (UTC)

Lion King?
[edit]Pumbaa does a brief Durante impression while singing "Hakuna Matata" in The Lion King. Where, when? Without a reference, I'm going to remove this claim. - Brian Kendig (talk) 06:01, 26 December 2017 (UTC)
