PR
[edit]The last part of this article reads too much like a PR job. I've done some work on syntax, etc., but could someone please tidy it up? --Technopat 19:04, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
- Ditto. This article is about Jimmie Lunceford, not the Jimmie Lunceford Legacy Orchestra.--128.171.157.189 22:12, 1 October 2007 (UTC)
Yeah that Legacy Orchestra needs it's own page. It's mostly irrelevant (Trevhutch 07:25, 5 February 2008 (UTC)) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Trevhutch (talk • contribs)
Birthplace Discrepancy
[edit]The article states that Jimmie Lunceford's birthplace is Fulton, Missouri (abbreviation: MO). The swingmusic.net bio says Fulton, Mississippi (abbreviation: MS). I did a Google search and found a fairly equal split between the two states. Anybody have a definitive answer? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.107.156.99 (talk) 15:51, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
Jimmie Lunceford was born in my home town, Fulton, Missouri. I added a citation from an older printed source. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Carolyn Paul (talk • contribs) 03:12, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
