Spelling
[edit]This is a note about the inconsistent spelling of his surname. Peelle's name is also sometimes spelled "Peele" in record books. The University at Buffalo media guide (cited in the article under External links) uses "Peelle" throughout its text, and this appears to be the correct spelling, but please note that even this book uses "Peele" instead of "Peelle" in one place.--Arxiloxos (talk) 23:24, 15 January 2010 (UTC)
- Just a follow-up here; the article was moved today, per this discussion. Multiple reliable sources (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) confirm that the correct spelling of the last name is "Peele" with only one-l. Ejgreen77 (talk) 05:39, 6 October 2019 (UTC)
