[edit]I have edited this extensively. There are a lot of citations required - much in the way of false information or unclear information. But the copyedit seems to have improved the article. Would more knowledgeable editors please continue and improve the article? Many thanks. docboat (talk) 11:54, 1 January 2008 (UTC)

Jim Martin (Australian soldier)
[edit]If you look at the Australian War Memorial records online you will see that Albert Ernest Francis Dunnicliff was actually the youngest Australian to serve in World War 1 aged just 13 years and 11 months. His father also served(Ernest Albert Francis Dunnicliff but was killed in action at Gallipoli). Can this correction be made please for the Wikipedia records. Andrew Dunncliff(his grandson). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Spendunn (talk • contribs) 06:49, 30 October 2019 (UTC)
- G'day, Andrew, I have added something to the article now clarifying that Martin was not the youngest to enlist. Regards, AustralianRupert (talk) 08:14, 30 October 2019 (UTC)
- thanks-I added some text to show that he was born and enlisted in Adelaide as he has not had the recognition in South Australia(or Australia)that I believe he deserves. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 210.8.25.66 (talk) 05:52, 4 November 2019 (UTC)
