At least half this article appears to be a word for word lift from the Australian Dictionary of Biography article, without citation, dating back to the article's creation in 2008. Or am I seeing things? Nickm57 (talk) 07:27, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have added reference to the ADB biography on Gerald, from which much of this article is stolen. I will start to deal with the outrageous plagiarism over the next few days. It will involve reducing the article. Also, many of the claims - eg: the 30 films in the US in 1928 and the connection to uncle's circus, have also long since been dismissed.Nickm57 (talk) 23:07, 1 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
