Hi Wildescaperoute thanks for your interest in improving the article. Based on this edit note you appear to have a conflict of interest, so please discuss changes you would like to see, here on the Talk page. Please do be mindful of our policy that all content must be verifiable (see WP:VERIFY) based on reliable sources (see WP:RS). Things that Badra told you in an interview, cannot be added to any article on the basis of that interview; they must be found in reliable sources. Looking forward to talking. Hello, as you must know by know, I know little about how wikipedia operates in regards to editors. When I made changes to the wikipedia site representing Mr. Badra, I thought I was "saving", but actually published it apparently. Badra became very upset when he thought what I spent a number of hours doing for him was stripped away and the out of date and rather drab version I was beefing up was back to its original state. I'm not writing it as fan mail but trying to provide up-to-date facts about Mr. Badra. I have no problems citing Badra and his question is: Does he reserve the right as the the subject of the wikipedia page to make changes to things he felt were not worded correctly? And is it possible to retrieve what I input? How do I sent you a photo to prove that Mr. Badra is right here with me? Wildescaperoute (talk) 21:13, 1 April 2015 (UTC)wildescaperoute[reply]
Hi, thanks for writing here. Thanks for acknowledging that you are learning how things work. It is harder to work with new editors, when they refuse to acknowledge that there is lots to learn. As i wrote above, we don't care at all about who you say you are or what you say that Badra wants. An image of somebody who likes like Badra, with some random person, doesn't prove anything either.
Wikipedia is based on a really radical notion - it doesn't matter who you are here (unless you have a conflict of interest, that is) - what matters is what you do here. It matters what reliable sources say (see link above), and it matters what Wikipedia policies and guidelines say.
you asked if Badra (or any subject of any article) "reserves the right" to do anything here. The answer is no. Wikipedia is the property of the Wikimedia Foundation (WMF), and WMF makes Wikipedia freely available for copying and editing per the licenses at the bottom of every page. That said, we want to know if there is something that is dead wrong, especially if it something really bad or really good. (people do sometimes vandalize articles, in all kinds of ways). Our policy on articles about living people, is here: WP:BLP. As i wrote above, since you have a conflict of interest, you should make edit requests on this page. I have added a button to the bottom of the yellow-brown box at the top of the page, to make that easier for you to do. I hope that makes sense. Jytdog (talk) 21:41, 1 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
