Jhelum Valley (Kashmir) → Jhelum Valley – No need for brackets as there is only one such valley. – Filpro (talk) 01:17, 1 April 2016 (UTC)
- @Filpro: This is a contested technical request (permalink). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 04:53, 1 April 2016 (UTC)
- Need to distinguish the part of the Jhelum in Kashmir from the part in the plains of Punjab. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 04:53, 1 April 2016 (UTC)
- This article has bounced around to several titles over the years.[1] It seems the idea was originally to deal with the only the Pakistani portion of the Jhelum valley in this article, its first title being Jhelum Valley, Pakistan. Considering the length of the article,, why not a merge with Jhelum River? — AjaxSmack 14:13, 2 April 2016 (UTC)
- Comment. A bit confusing, since the Kashmir Valley also seems to be the valley of the Jhelum river and is (obviously) in Kashmir. I think both probably need renaming. -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:56, 7 April 2016 (UTC)
