I would like to add more information to the Disadvantages for Women Compared to Men section of this page. The section could use more specific information as to why the Jewish women were raped and killed directly after due to Rassenschande. I would also provide some detail as to the moral reasoning of why the German soldiers raped the Jewish women, such as their view of them as inferior beings and as not even human. In addition, I would add details about the ritualistic nature of the raping, specifically how they would hold drunken parties where they would go from woman to woman. I would also provide specific statistics demonstrating the prevalence of the raping such as, 50-80% of the S.S troops and police units that operated in Eastern Europe were guilty of sexual abuse towards Jewish women. All in all, I plan to add 200-300 words to the already existing information. The source I used to obtain my information was Modern Judaism, Volume 32, Number 3, October 2012, pp. 293-322. If anyone wants to comment on these changes, please let me know on this Talk Page or on my Talk Page. Casey365 (talk) 23:33, 14 November 2019 (UTC)Casey365[reply]

So it looks like twice as many men as women were killed in the Holocaust (that's the question that led me to this page). Given that, it like the second sentence was somewhat awkwardly phrased and the reason for that fact is never addressed in the article, which is a shame since it's an important question. 67.194.181.17 (talk) 20:21, 10 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
