Reading this I feel that the modern orthodox position is marginalized. Phrases such as "_______ has mostly died out today" pop up every few paragraphs. Also, it is very unclear what is ancient and what is practiced today. Joe407 (talk) 05:33, 17 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunately, that is typical of a Newman Luke article, which uses outdated and often incorrect sources and demonstrates a fundamental lack of understanding about the underlying topics. I am sorely tempted to redirect this to marriage in Judaism until an appropriate article can be constructed. -- Avi (talk) 20:29, 17 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
