ambiguity
[edit]I think that the statement "It also features the longest continuously operating shop" in the first paragraph is fairly ambiguous. Is it the longest continuously operating shop in Philadelphia, or the longest continuosly operating diamond shop in the world? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 190.74.228.70 (talk) 22:11, 22 April 2007 (UTC).
Ambiguous or not, it's false. My father, Irving Gansky was born in 1912, came to the United States in 1923, became an apprentice in the late 1920s, and I don't think opened his own shop until the 1940s. Row house
[edit]I changed
- The block-long row house is an important example of Philadelphia’s architectural and developmental history.
to
- The block of row houses...
See https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/row%20house:
- row house: one of a series of houses connected by common sidewalls and forming a continuous group
