Is this article large enough to be split into several related articles?

It appears that during the past month, reliable third-party inline references has been increased by a factor of five and that most of the subsections has greatly increased with the new information obtained from the additional references.

  1. Should Jewel Companies, Inc. (the holding company from 1932 to 1984) be in a separate article from that would focus on the Chicago area-based Jewel Food Store division (and the later Jewel-Osco Midwest division under American Stores, Albertsons, Supervalu, etc.)?
  2. Is the Jewel T section large enough to have its own page yet? Newspaper article from other parts of the country that were written about Jewel T in their region could be added.
  3. Does any of the other former subsidiaries of Jewel Companies deserve their own article? Jewel Grand Bazaar? Republic Lumber? Jewel-Osco-Turn Style Family Centers? Jewel Express? The original Jewel Tea home delivery service and collectibles that were sold through this service?

Is it time to jettison dead links, low quality references, and some of the unreferenced material? Are there any good newspaper articles that needs to be included that would be describe how how Jewel is different from other Albertsons divisions beside the name on the sign above the store? This article has grown to the point that it is become unwieldy for a single person to edit without going blind. 107.216.165.224 (talk) 02:52, 18 September 2015 (UTC)
