I'm intending to add a list of episodes once the draft article List of Jet Lag: The Game episodes is approved Radiantgoose420 (talk) 01:46, 19 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I would say not to add it onto the episode list as it lacks the Jet Lag branding and is always talked about as a separate thing to Jet Lag despite being a pilot. The mention of it in the background section suffices. BritishMew (talk) 22:14, 8 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
This is a bit late (I only just realized this article finally got made) but I would argue the opposite and believe since it has officially been considered the pilot season for jet lag the game by the companion podcast (a few times now) I feel that it is worthy of adding it to a seasons list but just with a note saying that is has been retconned into being a jet lag season and isn’t branded as a jet lag season. Overall: First of all, thank you @Spaghettifier: for rescuing this page from the draftspace! I actually watched the first season of Jet Lag not too long ago, so I'm glad to see it has an article now 🙂 No significant copyright violations according to Copyvio either (though, if you wanted to, I would paraphrase the quote "strong, frequent, reliable, or semi-reliable, public transportation," as it seems like the same information could be conveyed without using quote and shorter, but that's up to you). My only concern is where you got the information for your "Guests" section of the table? I don't doubt the information is true, but the citation provided just links to the Jet Lag Nebula channel without further information. When this is fixed, I have no problem with passing, cheers! Countries and locales visited

Episode Views

A table of view counts would not add anything significant to a reader's understanding of the topic. Can you find a WP:RS that reports the individual episode view counts as notable? That may have been more acceptable if we already had a table of individual episodes (which would be excessive for this show in all likelihood), but a standalone table is not WP:DUE. Question About "The Getaway" Spinoff

Can someone please add the new spinoff coming this summer, The Getaway, to the article? I tried to add it when it got announced but then someone removed it! I used a source when I added that Ben is the son of Larry Doyle but it got removed but the source is still there. My source is Ms. Jennifer Maas at Variety.com at the link https://variety.com/2024/tv/news/jet-lag-the-game-new-show-getaway-premiere-date-nebula-1235956944/ but I do not like adding sources because it is all true. Season 11

"Spin-off series" section

Doesn't feel like the new section for The Getaway is germane to this article. A spin-off implies some replication of characters, settings, or mechanics. The Getaway doesn't seem to relate to JLTG at all outside of the production team. The Maas Variety source cited there clarifies that "Though it’s from the same team that makes 'Jet Lag: The Game,' 'The Getaway' is a separate project from that travel competition series." Agreed. Moreover, I am not aware of any WP:RS that refers to The Getaway as a "spin-off" of Jet Lag, which seems instead to be an editor's misinterpretation that fails WP:NPOV. Just a note that I re-worked the content mentioning The Getaway into Sam Denby#The Getaway, where it is more germane, in this edit. The individual episodes are not particularly notable on their own. The season overview currently serve the function of providing summaries about their content at the depth that is justifiable, including the seasons' ranges of dates released. Simply listing episode titles and individual release dates adds nothing of value. Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information. The only thing that would make that table worthwhile would be individual episode summaries, but an episode summary would also be excessive detail and WP:CRUFT. I don't think, given the way reliable sources discuss the seasons in broad strokes, individual episode summaries are justifiable for this show. Different shows should have different levels of detail that reflect the way RS's discuss them. From individual episode articles being justifiable (i.e. for prestige shows such as Breaking Bad), to season summaries being the most appropriate path forward (smaller scale shows such as this one). And why can't we have recaps of each episode? It provides the reader a chance to know what is happening without watching the 45 minute episode. Once I am done I am posting it and if you revert it without no other opinions, you will be haing a discussion with the board of editors at wikipedia and I have already told them about you and they know..
