Debate on Removal of bias
[edit]A section on "ideals" has quotes lifted directly from the band's MySpace page. Aside from being stupidly fanboyish, whis is not neutral, and has no place on an encyclopedia. I am proposing its deletion from the page.Floydiac (talk) 18:38, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
- An update, I am removing that section now. It can be replaced easily if there is any debate.Floydiac (talk) 18:43, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
Content
[edit]I have rewritten most of the page to make it easier to read, improve neutrality, and to include references. Please use them in future. The problem with my activities is that the article is now significantly shorter than it was. If anyone sees this, if they could extend the article PROPERLY, it could be vastly improved.Floydiac (talk) 18:41, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
- Please, don't add Industrial Rock. JOE is nothing more than a casting band. It's simply chart rock music. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.134.19.11 (talk) 23:12, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
- Why? Just because they have a mainstream sound, doesn't remove them from the genre. I consider them to be industrial rock. Not very good industrial rock, but industrial nonetheless.Floydiac (talk) 20:32, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
- Since genre has been brought up, I would like to submit that they are somewhat alternative metal. Alternative metal is slightly heavier than alternative rock. Their cover of "Ordinary World" is very alternative metal sounding. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 23:18, 18 May 2014 (UTC)
