A fact from Jessica Hart (model) appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 14 February 2009, and was viewed approximately 9,763 times (disclaimer) (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Just thought I'd put that inline tag there to point out that the claim that Hart has signed to appear in VS ads is somewhat doubtful, considering two of the three Aussie examples of models signed to VS are not at all signed to VS and have not appeared in the company's ads, and Hart has yet to. This is likely another example of non-US sources incorrectly making statements about such-and-such model being the new Angel when in fact the reality is that the model is just appearing in a few catalog shots, which is probably the case here. Rather than reinsert the dubious tag (which had been appropriately placed), I rewrote a few sentences to be more literal. We can only be sure that the Australian media reports that she signed on for ads (since no ads have ever actually surfaced) and that she has been featured in recent catalogs. The other two models cited as having contracts for ads have never appeared in VS ads and the final source apparently still thinks Gisele is with the company. We're clearly dealing with sources that aren't checking their facts here, so let's keep their inaccurate reporting to a minimum within the article. Mbinebritalk ←04:18, 22 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
